Becoming a member is currently free for a whole year's coverage on a business website! At some point in time the membership may decide to institute a small membership fee to cover the costs of running this organization, perhaps $60 to $100 a year. Still an incredible benefit.

We hope to draw as many types of "businesses" as possible that reflect all those who rely on "clients" to do their work. Thus any individual artist, non-profit group or entity that needs clients should consider joining.

The requirements are: You are a local business or organization, (not a part of a franchise or corporation where the dollars received would immediately leave New Haven), that you send us a logo, info data, and a photo best representing your business so that we can set up a banner for you. You would then also create, from your website, a link back to yourhaven.org. The more interlinking we do the easier it will be for searchers to find us. Please see sample banner under "Home and Garden" then "Furniture" for Fairhaven Furniture. You would need to give us the listing category you would like to be under. We can create new categories if you think there isn't one that covers you.

We are making an attempt to network and interlink with as many other local "green" or community nurturing organizations as possible. Hopefully at some point in time all these various groups could share a "point person" or moderator to represent their shared goals and interests for a better working greater New Haven community.
